Rubber Flooring
Polyurethane binders are widely used to create rubber flooring for playgrounds, gyms, and sports courts. In this application, rubber granules (often recycled) are mixed with the binder and applied in place or moulded into tiles, creating surfaces that are impact-absorbent, slip-resistant, and durable. Polyurethane binders enhance rubber’s resilience, shock absorption, and durability, making them perfect for high-impact sports surfaces like running tracks and sports courts. These binders, used in sports pitches and playgrounds,
offer excellent tensile strength, elongation, and temperature resistance.
Synthetic Turf Underlay
The binder is used to bond rubber granules or foam materials into underlay sheets for artificial turf, providing cushioning and shock absorption.
