Donovan Slade

Donovan Slade is the Global Technology Lead for CASE products at Pacific Urethanes. With over 30 years of experience in the polyurethane industry, Donovan brings deep technical expertise and leadership across elastomers, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and polyurea systems.

He began his career at 19 and has held senior roles including National Sales Manager, Technical Sales Director, and CEO of a leading CASE technology company in South Africa. Donovan has launched multiple high-performing divisions focused on polyurethane hot and cold cure elastomers, PU spray systems, and advanced coatings and linings.

Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Logistics & Supply Chain Management), Donovan combines commercial acumen with hands-on technical capability. He also holds several NACE/AMPP certifications in coating inspection and specification writing.

Donovan is passionate about sustainability in formulation, process, and material innovation. His work directly supports Pacific Urethanes’ mission—to change the Australian polyurethane industry with one sustainable formulation at a time.
